Antidote Nutrition for HairWhy Women Lose Their Hair Pt1

There are many reasons why women lose their hair and whilst it is really distressing, it is usually temporary and there are many remedies to help your hair while this is happening.

I have had this happen to me twice in my life now, once after childbirth and recently through a particularly stressful period.

And fortunately it was only temporary.

It’s hard enough when you go through child birth, many of us having to cope with weight gain, fatigue, skin changes and hormonal imbalances to name a few. So losing your hair only adds to your woes. Doesn’t do a lot for your self esteem let me tell you especially when people are very quick to point it out to you.

Let me start by explaining a few simple facts about hair, which will help put your mind at ease.

Our hair goes through various growth stages. Each hair can be at a different growth stage at any given time.  It is quite normal to lose up to 150 hairs per day and usually when one falls out another is growing and so the cycle continues.

Where you will begin to experience hair loss is when hairs can enter the resting phase too early and this will result in more shedding than usual and you may start to notice more signs of thinning. Usually it is more evident around the hairline and crown area of the scalp, which in my case is what happened to me.

During my first pregnancy I had lots of luscious curls and then about 4 months after my daughter was born, my hair fell out so much that my scalp was visible. As if all the usual post pregnancy symptoms aren’t enough!

8weeks Antidote CS2I was told it was all normal and it wasn’t until I heard a talkback radio program where the doctor explained that once you lose the placenta, which is packed full of nutrition, it takes the body about 6 months to get the nutrition level back to normal. Sure enough, at the 6 month mark , I could see my hair growing back. Phew!

Now on to my 50s and it’s a whole new ball game. In my case a mix of hormones and stress was the main cause.

I started noticing my scalp more in the mirror. At first I thought it was my imagination until family were noticing how bad it was and started to make comments.

You can imagine how bad I felt and quite self-conscious. Even using a mirror to check the back of my head to make sure it was covered!

I decided to cut my hair into a shorter style to cut away the weaker hair and give it more bounce, which helped a lot and then luckily, I came across a great product . ANTIDOTE, now known as AEDE.

I checked with my doctor first to rule anything else out, as I always recommend everyone does, before you try anything. Just in case it doesn’t react with anything you’re currently taking.

Next week I’m going to talk more about ANTIDOTE (now known as AEDE) and how it can help you through the many causes of hair loss. You’ll also see my amazing results after just 5 months. Some people get results quicker or slower than others, but the important thing is to keep taking the supplements for optimum results.

In the meantime you can check it out on my website https://www.annacarniato.com/shop/ and please feel free to email me with any queries you may have.
